Hello dA!

I haven't written an entry in a while, and I have hardly been on. (apologies)
School has been incredibly crazy for the past two months.
Assessments, then final exams for the school assessment, and now graduation is in less than a month!
I'm so excited... both graduating and getting out of that hell hole that is school.
I'm just sick of it all.

Well, the last batch of photos i uploaded were from my v.arts major.
The artist statement is due tomorrow, then the exhibition for all HSC art/d&t majors are on this friday night at my school.

These multiple exposures are compelling statements of my fascination with the parallels of emotional and psychological experiences that lie just below the surface. These moments of transition and metamorphosis reveal a sense of fragility, overcome by apparitions of tenderness that are conveyed through the mood and atmosphere of each photograph.

My characters are honest and human, and their lives question our definitions of reality. They appear almost like ghosts – fascinating, yet unbelievably frightening; conveying the dissonance between the suggestions of beauty and terror. These “external” images are complemented by the “internal” – loose dreamlike narratives.</sub>

Well, I hope everybody is well.
I really cannot wait to graduate and finish school forever so I can do something that I enjoy (ie. take photographs, have fun) without directly linking everything I do to HSC and school.
